NO!  The information that you give Band of Life™ is strictly confidential. Band of Life™ does not share this information with anyone. You, alone posses the wristband.

How do I know that emergency medical personnel will find the Band of Life™ in the event of an accident?

Emergency personnel will search the personal belongings of anyone involved in an accident. Their purpose is to identify that individual. Band of Life™ is given the color red and marked with the caduceus. These are very noticeable by any caregiver. Best of all it is not hidden in a wallet or purse.........it is in plain view, on your wrist.

I don't travel; I stay in my hometown. Wouldn't the emergency room personnel be able to get my medical records from my personal physician or local hospital?

Yes, they probably can. But, it could take hours and if the request was made after office hours, your medical records would possibly not be retrieved until the next day. In an emergency situation, seconds count. That valuable time could make the difference between life and death.

I don't want my insurance company or employer to see my personal medical record. How safe is it?

Your medical history is electronically imprinted in the wristband . No copy is kept. No one has access to those files but you.

Is my information accessible on the Internet?

NO. Once you have provided your medical information to the wristband that file is no longer available.
